Marg & Harold's local knowledge saved our bacon, or haggis, when our ferry crossing was cancelled on the last day. Their hosting was excellent, from breakfast to the banter and advice. We felt like part of the community while staying here, not just tourists. Islay is gorgeous, and we had an incredible time. Thanks so much.

Our hosts made us feel so welcome, their hospitality seemed endless. The rooms were tidy, the beds comfortable, the bathroom perfect, and the view great. Each morning there was a delicious, wonderfully complete breakfast waiting for us. We had a splendid time at this B&B.

Margaret was a lovely host, and the cottage had everything we needed. We stayed for three nights and had a great time. The upstairs living space was especially nice, with lots of light and lovely views. Thank you so much.

The garden and nearby park were a hit with the young kids in our large group, and the space worked well for all of us. Margaret and Harold were friendly and accommodating. The historic home is beautifully presented, close to top distilleries, and has a spectacular view over the bay. Highly recommended.

The Grange is such a lovely house, with a great view of Port Ellen. I was surprised to find that my gallery had photos of breakfast food only! Booking was a little difficult, but worth it. Send Margaret an email and she’ll reply right away. We could start every day with a fresh, warm breakfast, and she tidied our room when we only asked for fresh towels. They also tried to give us lots of information about this lovely island. Thank you, The Grange!
