Belvedere

Alan the owner made a lovely breakfast with a personal touch and gave us a great tip for seeing Glen Rosa. He made us feel very welcome. We were lucky to get into our room a little early, and found it clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It's a fantastic place in the centre of Brodick, more personal than most hotels.

The owner and staff were lovely and gave helpful advice, especially for getting your bearings and finding your way around the Isle on a first visit. We stayed two nights for a little celebration, and I adored the place. I chose it because breakfast was included, and it's absolutely worth having. There was fruit salad, a full Scottish breakfast and toast, plus all the birds that gather in the front garden in the morning. It's an extensive spread and a lovely way to start the day. I hope I find another reason to stay. 10/10, I'd definitely come back ❤️

Allan and his wife Jan were excellent hosts, keen to learn what we needed and help with any issues so our stay would be memorable. The bed was comfortable, and the room and ensuite were spotless. The dining room had a beautiful view, and breakfast looked just as lovely on the table, thoughtfully prepared by Allan with fruit from his garden. For vegans, the homemade square sausage, no wait, heart-shaped, was top notch, creatively made with herbs from Allan's garden. Good value too. I'd stay again. Five well-deserved stars.

We spent three nights here and had a great time getting around, with the guest house close to the centre of Broderick. Our room was large, very clean and made us really happy. Allan kept us well supplied with tea and coffee, and the included breakfast he cooked was delicious. He was a perfect host. Highly recommend, and thank you, Allan!
