We had such a good time returning for our anniversary after holding our wedding dinner here last year. The rooms and views are great, and the welcoming staff made everything from check-in to meals and checkout feel personal, going out of their way to help. It's in a peaceful bay beside Portree and close to several breathtaking hiking spots. An amazing hotel, perfectly situated, and definitely worth a visit.

The rooms were spacious, spotless and well maintained, a comfortable place to unwind. Staff were warm, attentive and genuinely friendly from the moment we arrived, and we felt well looked after throughout. Breakfast and dinner were both standouts, with a great choice of delicious, high-quality food that exceeded our expectations. Our stay at Cuillin Hills Hotel was truly exceptional, and we'd gladly return. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Skye.

We still miss the Full Scottish we had each morning, weeks after our visit. Our room was spacious and clean, and the property has stunning views across Portree and the harbor. The staff were welcoming, warm and helpful throughout our wonderful stay at the Cuillin Hills Hotel. Highly recommend it for a visit to the Isle of Skye.

I especially appreciated how warm and cozy the room was during our February visit. My suite was spacious, spotless and had a fantastic view. The food was outstanding and prepared amazingly well, and the staff were welcoming, warm and helpful. I'm so grateful for their hospitality. It was a wonderful place to stay in Portree, and I'd be delighted to return.

We were sad to leave. The staff were friendly and excellent, and the rooms, though traditional, were large, very comfortable and well kept. There's a beautiful, well managed bar, and the attendant was friendly and knew a lot about whiskey. We loved the big fireplace in the front reading room, the heart of the hotel. The traditional decor and way of running things made it feel warm and welcoming.
