Stags View Holiday Home

We stayed at Stags View with family members who were visiting Skye for the first time, and Borve made a lovely quiet base for their trip. It’s near the middle of the island, so places like the Kilt Falls, Fairy Glen, Fairy Pools and Dunvagan are easy to reach. Portree is only a short distance away, depending on how strong your throwing arm is! The cottage felt like home. We cooked, slept and watched telly, and pretty much everything had been thought of. It’s peaceful and properly dark at night for stargazing, too. Jacquie was a real trooper and a wonderful host, especially for what she did for us at that particular time. Thank you again. There are plenty of stags behind the house, but they don’t bother you, and apparently they love apples. Stags View is top of our list for a self-catering stay on Skye. We’ll be back, Jacquie, so keep the home fires burning!
