The Flodigarry Hotel in the Skye

The Flodigarry Hotel is beautifully set above the sea, with mature forest behind it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and well kept. The old-fashioned bathroom fixtures were fun, and the bar was one of the classiest I've been in for a while. I liked the wood stove by our table, and the Skye IPA on tap was excellent. I visited for the week while my daughter was on holiday from St Andrews University. My only small gripe was that the duvets on the twin beds were tiny. We asked for larger ones, and they were happy to accommodate us. I'd surely stay here again if I return.

The views from this lovely find were gorgeous, with the Flodigarry Hotel set on the hill facing the sea. The staff were amazing, the food was perfect, and the room was spacious, with a huge shower and a bed that felt like heaven. It was a perfect night off the road. I'd definitely stay again when travelling to the Isle of Skye.

We liked it so much that we added another night to our stay. The setting is stunning, and the hotel itself feels elegant and gorgeous. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, the shower was great, and the grounds were lovely. Service was excellent, and we also really enjoyed the restaurant's well-prepared food made with fresh local ingredients.

We had a wonderful two nights in the Signature Master Suite, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially with my food allergies. The restaurant food was delicious, and the whole property felt calm and quiet. But the view from the room was the real showstopper. I couldn't stop looking at it from the moment I walked in, and the website photos don't come close. The bathroom was the one letdown: there was nowhere to put toiletries, so it wasn't very functional. I'd happily come back and would highly recommend a stay.
