Breakfast was so good I could've stayed through to lunch. Everything was cooked with care and served so warmly. Hannah greeted us with a huge smile as soon as we arrived, and the welcome made us feel at home. The rooms are spacious and beautifully comfortable, with just the right mix of charm and relaxation. The Isle of Skye is a lovely bonus, but The Kilted Fox was the sweetest finishing touch to a memorable stay. I can't recommend it enough.
Hannah was incredibly kind after I spilled a whole cup of coffee all over myself and everything else. She even offered to wash my soaked shirt and sweater. We stayed two nights at the Kilted Fox in Portree, booked by Rabbies, and it was just right. The en-suite bedroom was comfortable and easy to get to, and breakfast was nice, especially Hannah's delicious home-baked rolls. It's about a 15-minute walk into town. If you haven't managed to book dinner in busy Portree, the Coop has some good options.
Nick was a lifesaver when we realized we'd left our room key on the tour bus on day two. The driver had already gone, and we were panicking, but Nick came over within minutes of our email and let us in with his spare. He reassured us that we could return the key the next morning when the bus picked us up, and even asked about our day to help us feel better. That's one example of how thoughtful Hannah and Nick are. They greeted us when we arrived and every morning at breakfast, where there are lots of options and Nick keeps the coffee pot full. The room feels new, cosy, and nicely decorated, and the place is quiet but close to the town centre for a short walk. They've clearly put a lot of care into making guests comfortable. This was one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in and the highlight of our Skye trip. We'd recommend it to anyone visiting the island. If you're touring with Rabbie's, ask them to book you here in Portree.

The walk to the neighbouring beach was a highlight, with Highland Cattle and Red Deer along the way. We also enjoyed walking through the Kilted Fox Gardens and the lunch menu was outstanding. We travelled by tour to the Kilted Fox, surrounded by exceptional scenery and more photo opportunities than we could count. It topped off our trip!
