The place itself was clean, very comfortable, and set on a hill with fantastic views. Breakfast was the best, and the price felt fair. Kate and Steve make the stay even better: Kate is so kind, and Steve has a brilliant sense of humour and imagination. This was the best place I stayed on Skye, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Kate and Steven made it feel like visiting a favourite aunt and uncle. The rooms are cosy, and the location works perfectly as a base for hikes, with a great view too. I’d have liked eggs at breakfast, though I’m sure Steven would make some if asked. The sheep in the garden were a bit too shy for my liking, so I never managed to befriend one.

Tigh Quiraing - Heather has lovely views of Quiraing at breakfast, and we enjoyed every minute there. Kate and Steve were wonderful hosts and made us feel like part of the family right from the start. Check-in was easy and flexible, and the accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and homey. The food was delicious, and the coffee was exquisite, if a bit crazy.

We’ll never forget our stay here. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and had us laughing; they’re also talented artists, with lots of their beautiful work on display. The bedroom was cosy, clean, and warm, with an amazing view out to Staffin and the Quiriang. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the whole setup and view were fantastic. What a gem of a place.

We came back for a second stay after booking a week here last year. Kate and Steve are so friendly and helpful that it feels like staying with friends. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the views from the bedroom windows are stunning.
