We loved sitting outside and looking across the hills, and it was peaceful even though the centre of Keswick was close by. Catbells studio also made a great base for hikes. Inside, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the owners had added lots of thoughtful touches. Just right for a short break.

We had everything we needed in a comfortable, well-stocked room, and the hosts made sure of that. It was a really enjoyable stay, with walks and attractions close by in Keswick. Thanks 😊

The mountain view from our apartment at the back of the property was a lovely bonus, and there was plenty of parking, with room to turn around before pulling onto the main road, which can get busy. We found the location just right, with a Spar attached to a fuel station next door. The apartment was a good size and well equipped, and the electric shower worked well. We'd recommend it and would come back.

The town centre is only about a two-minute walk away, and from there it's easy to get out to some gorgeous Lake District spots by car or, even better, by bus. Lynton Lodge studios were warm and cosy, with everything we needed.

This was our second visit, and we might be back many more times if we can. Trish and Rich make you feel right at home in their lovely little place. The studio is snug, the shower is great, and the beds are very comfortable. Keswick is an easy walk away, and it makes a fabulous base for walking, or motorcycling in our case. There's off-street parking too.
