We were close enough to town for dinner but far enough away to have some privacy, and the garden and views of the Catbells made breakfast especially lovely. We were only there for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. For our anniversary, they upgraded us to a larger room, with flowers from their garden and a card signed by the whole family waiting inside. A perfect base for our time in Keswick. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Our six days in the Superior Double Room on the ground floor gave us remarkable views of the fells and a great starting point for exploring. We could walk into town in five minutes, or quickly get onto a trail, while the Grange Country House itself felt wonderfully quiet and set apart from the inns in central Keswick. Sally, Mark, Adam, Max, Michael, and Jamie made us feel at home, shared plenty of laughs, and offered great tips for getting the most from our Lake District trip. We’d just finished an enchanting honeymoon there and couldn’t have asked for better views, staff, or location. We can’t wait to return. Three cheers for the Grange Country House!

We stayed a couple of nights in room 11. The owners were really welcoming, the room was clean, and there was a nice touch of coffee and cake in the afternoon. Breakfast was decent too. One small problem: after cleaning, our room had been left unlocked. Luckily, nothing was taken. Keswick is a short walk away, though it’s more comfortable if you’re reasonably fit.

The dining room has gorgeous views, and breakfast was great. The family running the B&B made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with good quality toiletries, including conditioner that was actually good, which is rare in hotels. The property is tastefully decorated, and central Keswick is a short walk away. You can tell the owners care about the place and their guests. Highly recommend it.

They really make an effort to keep you comfortable, and I especially enjoyed breakfast. Had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back.
