Val and Alan really made us feel welcome, and nothing seemed too much trouble. They excelled as hosts, and I think owners can make a real difference to how comfortable and enjoyable a guest house stay feels. Thank you both. Our room was clean and tidy, with a well appointed en-suite, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

It’s a great spot just outside the town centre, with onsite parking. We could walk to the main streets in five minutes and the lake in less than ten. Our room was welcoming and well equipped, the bed was really comfortable, and the night was peaceful and quiet, so we slept well. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, and it’s clear they take pride in looking after the place. Alan and Val were friendly and helpful hosts, and breakfast was excellent, tasty, and had a good choice of things to order. We really enjoyed our two-night stay at this lovely family-run B&B and will definitely be back on our next visit to Keswick.

Alan & Val are so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. The place is spotlessly clean, with lovely soft towels and thoughtful extras: cold water in a fridge on the landing, plus extra tea, coffee and biscuits if you need them. We’ve visited Keswick many times, but this was our first stay at The Paddock. What a gem, with perfect hosts. We’d definitely stay again.

Val and Alan made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was amazing, with plenty to eat and everything checked to make sure we were happy. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. Such a lovely place in Keswick, we’ll definitely come back.

Val and Alan were the nicest hosts we met on our travels. The town centre is only a short walk away, and the lake is close enough that we didn’t need the car. Breakfast was generous too, even for someone like me who eats a lot. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but what made the weekend special was how welcome we felt.
