Pear Tree Farm B&B

I booked one night on my own at The Gearhouse by calling the farm and speaking to Beverley. She was so welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the price was low, especially considering the delicious, generous breakfast included. It was amazing value. The farm is fully active and sits in the middle of a lovely village. Highly recommended! The website gives an idea of how Beverley tries to think of everything guests might need.

I called to book the day before my one-night stay in the main house, and got a better rate than any of the online booking sites. The room was large, with a comfortable bed and the usual amenities like tea, coffee and a TV. It’s a working farm, but there wasn’t excessive noise overnight. The cooked breakfast was fantastic. Beverley was so friendly and helpful, and I hope to stay here again.

The area is absolutely beautiful. We told our hosts about a few problems with our car when we arrived, and they immediately offered to help. They even took us out for tea and picked us up again later ❤️. Loved it.
