Guests kept telling us how smoothly everything ran and how lovely the staff were. The wedding team was reassuring and organised both during the months of planning and on the day, answering questions quickly and helping us through every detail. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The food was delicious, with every course full of flavour and presented beautifully. There was lots of choice for drinks, and service stayed attentive throughout. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests. From our first visit, we felt this place was special. The atmosphere and attention to detail exceeded what we expected, and the whole day flowed seamlessly. We’re incredibly grateful to the team for making our wedding so memorable. We can’t recommend the venue highly enough.

We’ve been spa members for a long time and always enjoy using the spa and gym. The facilities are kept wonderfully clean, and the friendly staff welcome you with a towel and locker key. On weekend visits, we often spend the day there and have lunch or a drink in the indoor cafe. The staff look after us well, and the food and drinks are nicely prepared. Members also get a discount at the cafe, which is a nice extra. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, especially for a walk on a fine day to see the wildlife and buildings. It’s a great place for a short stay or a bit of spa pampering. We’d happily recommend visiting once or joining like we have, so you can enjoy the facilities regularly.

This hotel has a lovely country home feel, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The bathroom had mini Penhaligon's products, and the quality came through throughout the place. Breakfast was good, though I’d have liked a wider choice of continental options. It was very good value for money, and a great little escape for anyone wanting to unwind. The treatment was 10/10 too.

I went to a wedding here and the setting was lovely, with excellent dining and well timed, orderly service. The usher or toastmaster deserves a mention: he had a firm, confident voice and kept the wedding running to plan. The room did get really chilly once the sun stopped shining in, which left me and some others uncomfortable. Also, there were lots of dead flies around the windows, so it wasn’t very appetising while eating. Still, it’s a fantastic venue overall.

My dad and I had afternoon tea for his birthday, and we had a great time. The food was lovely and the service was good. Orapin was especially kind, always checking in with a big smile, and even offered to take some pictures of us. I’d definitely go back 😁
