Grange Hotel

For my 5 day intensive driving course, I stayed 6 nights at The Grange Hotel in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Taz, the proprietor, even picked me up personally from the train station. It was a beautiful stay, and I slept better than I have in a very long time. The bed was lovely, and the in-room television was the finishing touch. Jane and Taz are kind, friendly people who made sure I had everything I needed. Jane arranged meals for the times I wanted, including room service if required. The full English breakfast was included each morning, and the meals were expertly prepared. As a cook myself, I especially appreciated the fresh ingredients and attention to detail, including the wonderful fresh fruit bowl available in the morning. The food was excellent. The room was large and comfortable, with a lovely full bath and shower. The building is beautiful too, with ornate woodwork and a lovely staircase. Exterior remodeling is under way, but it didn't affect the service. Once finished, the whole building should be absolutely beautiful. This was one of the best hotel/B&B's I've experienced. I plan to visit again when I get the chance, and would recommend both the driving course and staying at the Grange Hotel over other places in King's Lynn. It was well worth it. Tony G. London

This was our 7th year coming back for Mum's birthday. Jane was wonderful, with fresh milk, chocolate bars, and other snacks in our spacious room, and there was lots of parking. The new double glazed windows in our room preserve the character of this beautiful building. They're also putting on a new roof that suits its style. There's scaffolding up for further work, but it didn't detract from our stay. Breakfast was something special: a full English with all the trimmings. Highly recommend.

The owner gave amazing, personal service, and the rooms were very clean. The location works well for both the town and sandringham. Food is freshly cooked and portions are big enough that you don't need another meal on a day out. Thanks for a great stay.

The Grange is a great choice if you're staying in Kings Lynn. Jane's service was excellent and so accommodating, and breakfast was brilliant and included in the price. My room was perfect, with a comfortable bed, plenty of space, and lovely touches. The location suited what I needed really well.
