The house is laid out well and has good equipment. The en-suites are a little tight, though that’s a minor issue and would be costly to fix. Kingussie itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and I found it much more pleasant than nearby Aviemore. The setting is stunning. Highly recommend it.

We found the owners so helpful, with plenty of walking suggestions that led us to routes we wouldn’t have discovered ourselves. The B&B is also ideally placed for exploring the Cairngorms, with a very nice restaurant right next door and easy parking. Our family room was spacious, with a separate little room that our youngest loved, and breakfast was great. Such a warm welcome, easily the friendliest owners we met on our Scotland road trip.

There’s lovely woodland just behind the main road, and I enjoyed an early morning walk and jog there. The area is beautiful, the rooms are clean and roomy, and the hosts are lovely. Their two cute dogs were a treat too. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

A great base for exploring the Cairngorm national Park and beyond. Our room was large, comfortable and well equipped, with an ensuite, plenty of storage, drinks-making facilities and lots of biscuits. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice made from high-quality local produce. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and really went out of their way to make our stay a good one.

We had a lovely stay in this small, welcoming hotel, using it as a comfortable base for three days of hiking in beautiful Kingussie. The house was clean and attractive, and we got helpful suggestions for places to eat and walking routes. The breakfasts were varied and lovely, and the company was great. The packed lunches are also worth considering for a day out, especially at a reasonable price. Thanks for a really nice stay!
