The town is stunning, so we’ll likely come back. We stayed two nights for a friend’s wedding and the house worked out perfectly: right on the high street, yet we didn’t hear any troublesome noise. It was clean, a good size, and had all the amenities we needed. I’d happily recommend it. If you’re considering booking, go for it.
We had a great time in the apartment, and it was lovely and warm during that cold, wet spell. It had everything we needed. We were in Apartment 3 at the very top, so the stairs were quite a workout, especially on the first day with all our bags. We ended up laughing about it. We ate at two brothers Italian and would recommend it too, lovely place and great service.
Knaresborough is a nice little town, with some good pubs and restaurants, and Harrogate is only a short taxi or train ride away. Our two-bedroom flat at Bank Chambers was excellent, tastefully decorated and kitted out with all the modern conveniences. I’d thoroughly recommend staying there.
Getting to our top-floor apartment meant climbing far more stairs than I’d expected, and with my respiratory problems at the time, I found it really difficult. It’s probably not a good fit for anyone with mobility or breathing issues. The place itself was brilliantly located for our trip, amazingly clean, and supplied with everything we could possibly need. Some street noise is to be expected in that spot.
Apt 4 was a great base for exploring the area with my two kids for the weekend. It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The kids were delighted with the bunk beds, while the blackout blind in their room let me sleep in for once. They’re already eager to come back for more boating and another play at Valley Gardens.
