The pitches are large, and the site is very nice. Showers were clean, though they could have been warmer. On Saturday there was a party in a marquee in a field near the dog walk. It was very loud and carried on until midnight. We have dogs, including one who's very nervous, and the noise unsettled them for the whole time.
Peaceful and beautiful, and close to knaresborough. A lovely place that's very underrated.
We stayed for three nights over the bank holiday weekend. There are two nice pubs, one in Scotton and one in Brearton, about a 30 minute walk away. The site itself is lovely, with a good dog walk and a clean, tidy toilet and shower block. There's a bus stop outside for Knaresborough and Ripon. The ladies running the site were very friendly.
So quiet and peaceful, with an immaculate toilet and shower block. There are nice nature walks around the ponds, and a bus stop at the gate for Knaresborough and Harrogate.
We got lucky with the weather. It's an excellent site, with easy access to Knaresborough and the surrounding area. We've retired and love a bit of peace and quiet. Recommended 👍
