We popped in for a few drinks on Saturday teatime, and I ended up staying longer than I'd planned because we found a comfortable seat. It was busy, but service was quick, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was really friendly. The ladies' toilets were small but very clean. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and dogs are welcome. We didn't eat there.

The toilet smell and rough crowd put us off as soon as we stepped inside. We turned straight around and left.

The place was filthy, and we waited more than an hour for food after being told it would take 20 minutes. The bar staff were rough, and the food service was terrible. There was no customer service skill behind the bar.

Young local lads seemed off their heads and looking for trouble, and I felt non-locals were being intimidated by the regular thugs. This place could be great, but it feels like the landlord is being pressured into letting that go on. It's a joke. Stay away, and go somewhere else if you want a drink.

We loved the Saturday afternoon there. The place was full of locals catching up and watching sport on the TVs, with a good range of beers and wine. Say no more.
