Owen House Farm

That farm setting was lovely, with cows right outside, and we’d happily stay again. The room had a clean, comfortable safari-lodge feel and came with an espresso machine, tea, biscuits and a great rain shower. Wi-Fi worked well, the bed was great and it was excellent value. Caroline was super helpful and made everything easy. We ordered breakfast on WhatsApp and picked it up the next morning, quick and convenient, and the rustic breakfast area was a nice touch. It’s close to Manchester Airport, so you can hear the planes, but it didn’t bother us.

The main drawback was the noise from aircraft taking off at nearby Manchester Airport. We seemed to be under the departure flight path, and the owners can’t control that. The room and service deserve five stars, though, and the wedding we attended recently was fabulous.

A lovely room on a beautiful farm, with a few animals to keep you entertained. What really stood out was Caroline’s amazing service, from the first welcome to the best bacon sandwich the next day. I spend my working week in hotels, so it’s great to find a place like this while I’m away. I’m sure this will be my base from now on when I’m staying in the west.

The rooms were spotless and stunning, and breakfast was perfect with lots of options. I was blown away by how beautiful the place is when I stayed with my partner and friends. The man who welcomed us was friendly and helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we were settled and comfortable. Thanks so much, we’ll be back 😁
