There’s a 1.5 mile walk or drive into Largs for the coastal walks and local amenities. Willow Cottage is set peacefully in the countryside, just off a country lane, with a secure enclosed garden for dogs. It’s really dog friendly, with throws for the furniture and pet beds and bowls provided. The cottage is well furnished and very comfortable, especially the beds, and the kitchen is well equipped. The owner is approachable and happy to help with questions or local information.

The owners are lovely and friendly, and go out of their way to make your stay as good as it can be. The cottage has everything you could want, plus more, and makes a great base for exploring the surrounding area. We definitely plan to come back. An absolutely great place to stay.

The gardens are glorious and the views are great. Bell Loft is beautiful, with everything you need provided and comfy beds. I’d happily return.

On our way past, we walked up to the Chinese lake in Largs and found the estate beautiful.
