I'd strongly advise potential tenants to look elsewhere. A small room with shared facilities costs £625, plus another £75-£100 for electricity, even in summer when heating isn't used, so the total is much higher than advertised. The property also appears to be over-occupied, with two people living in rooms meant for one. That raises serious concerns about compliance with Council and HMO regulations. Be aware that many high-rated reviews appear to come from people connected to management rather than actual tenants. Avoid this property.

I’ve been at Keswick House for over a year, and the location is ideal for a DMU student, close to both DMU and the city centre. The apartments come fully furnished, and rent includes all bills and wifi, though we pay our own electricity. The landlord replies promptly and is very responsive. Repairs we asked for were done within days. For the location, the complex is well worth the money.

Thank goodness I moved out in time. She charged me for electricity without showing any proof and still hasn't returned my deposit despite many requests. I had a horrible experience, and I didn't recommend this place when my friends considered moving here.

While doing my Clinical Attached at the LRI, I rented a room in a 3 bed apartment just a five minute walk away, which was really convenient. The apartment was well equipped and had everything I needed. I was new to the country, and the management helped me tremendously. Their support made my stay much smoother than I expected.
