We were staying nearby in our caravan and came over with my wife and dog on Saturday evening for a meal and drinks. The barman was so welcoming, and we had excellent food and drinks. We’ll come back. Thanks!

The pizzas were lovely, the beers were all good and there’s always a strong choice of guest ales. We had a warm welcome as usual, and the room was lovely with a great night’s sleep. Superb again. We’ll be back soon.

That was a wonderfully relaxing Sunday afternoon. The Sunday roast was delicious, with generous portions and a lovely Yorkshire pudding, followed by sticky toffee pudding. Thanks to the team, and I really liked the log burner.

We stayed nearby for a week and could walk to this pub, which came highly recommended. The landlord was very friendly, and my husband really enjoyed the beer. Our family dinner was decent, with generous portions and good quality food. The pizza was awful, though, and I don't think it was homemade. We still had a nice evening.

The vegan choices were a real highlight, and the food was very good. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Theberton Lion, with warm, welcoming surroundings and genuinely attentive service that never felt intrusive. We’ll definitely return.
