The carvery was generous, with all the trimmings, and the beef was the best my wife and I can remember having. We came for Sunday roast with friends, and the chef was friendly and happy to chat about how he cooks and where he gets the beef. Highly recommend it.

The three of us all enjoyed excellent steaks with good wine and beer, and we got the usual warm welcome. If you love chocolate, don't skip the profiteroles with extra chocolate sauce. They're the best I've ever had.

I stayed overnight while attending a BBQ school day and would happily stay again. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water and a great strong flow. Breakfast was very good too.

We were served quickly, with drinks arriving in about 3-4 minutes and the food after roughly 10-15 minutes. The staff were lovely and brought plenty of drinks. The roast was absolutely lovely, and the new carvery was amazing. There's a great range of children's meals and vegetarian options as well. Highly recommend!

A lovely Sunday lunch. I chose the beef from the carvery, with a choice of three meats and plenty of vegetables and extras.
