A cup of tea and a slice of cake from Chris made us feel welcome straight away. The room was clean and well stocked, with thoughtful extras like a vanity kit, tissues, and flavoured teas if you wanted them. There was a spacious hot shower and views for miles, so it was well worth the price. The hospitality and breakfast were top notch, and a show from Peter and our lovely fellow guests was a great start to the long journey home. Thank you.
We stayed at the Curlew Barn on 06/02/20, and it was second to none. Peter and Chris were excellent hosts, with great hospitality and attention to detail, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic, from the homemade jam, marmalade, and granola to the full English, cooked perfectly. We'll definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends.
The location and views are stunning, and breakfast was fantastic. Chris and Peter made us feel so warm and welcome. The room was perfect, clean and modern, with lovely touches and complimentary items. Curlew Barn is the best B&B I've ever stayed in, and I can't wait to return.
Peter and Christine are wonderful hosts, so pleasant and obliging, and clearly dedicated to making our stay the best it can be. I'm here at Curlew Barn with a friend now, and we're both loving it. Peter is a great driver and guide. He and his wife have restored a stone barn into a comfortable, lovely home that welcomes guests. I highly recommend it.
We had cosy, comfortable rooms and tasty, filling breakfasts. Chris and Peter were friendly, very helpful hosts. The countryside around it is beautiful, making this a great place to stay.
