We went to Lindmar house to browse the shop and meet the new owners, who kindly gave us a look around the lovely accommodation too. The rooms are bright, tastefully done and finished to a high standard. The gift shop has its own character, with affordable, carefully made pieces ranging from Danish, hand made toys to antique home items, printed cards and art. It’s a clean, welcoming place with a romantic, nostalgic country feel.

We stayed here on 19th November 2017 and had a lovely bedroom. The hosts were a lovely couple, and breakfast was very good. We also bought Christmas mice from their shop, and they look lovely in our summer house. We hope to come back.

Room 3 had the biggest bed I’ve ever slept in, and it was so comfortable. The bathroom was lovely too, and the room overlooked the main square. There was everything we could have wanted, with wonderful hospitality from the hosts. Breakfast was superb, with fresh fruit, cereal, fruit compot/fool and, of course, a full English. I’d recommend it to everyone. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

There are just three guest bedrooms in this characterful Georgian house, with lots of antique furniture. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was great, and the hosts were chatty. Nothing to fault.
