The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the beers, ciders and desserts are lovely too. We’ve been here for meals lots of times, and the Sunday roast is the best I’ve had, well, apart from Mum’s. Had to say that, or my next roast might have to come through a straw in a hospital bed, lol. The meals are good value as well. It beats Wetherspoons and the other big pub chains for me. I always recommend it when people ask where to get a nice meal. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. 🌟

We only stopped in for a quick drink. It’s the kind of pub that seems to serve mostly local people, but everyone was friendly enough. We heard someone ask about food and were told they were fully booked, so booking ahead sounds like a good idea.

The staff were friendly, and the food and hospitality were so good today. We said goodbye to a lovely family member on 8 January 2026, and they provided a lovely spread. Thank you all.

Sue made us feel extremely welcome, and the service was outstanding. We had a lovely stay of two nights at the Bull while attending a wedding at Curds Hall Barn. One evening we ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed the meal. My husband is gluten intolerant, and they looked after him well. They also accommodated our needy dog, served a lovely breakfast, and even gave our pooch a sausage. Litcham Common is nearby, very pretty, and great for a morning run or walk. For a wedding or event nearby, I’d suggest driving. Taxis are available, but they’re limited and not cheap. I couldn’t recommend the Bull enough for a country weekend away.

There’s a warm welcome here every time. Great pub in Norfolk, with amazing food, lovely people and atmosphere, and brilliant service.
