I’ve been to Lake Lounge plenty of times for different occasions or just on a whim, and I’ll be back. This time it was a first date, and it went well. We had a reserved table, lovely service that didn’t pester us, and hot, delicious food presented nicely. The 5 tapas and bottle of wine for £55 was a bargain. When we wanted more drinks but our table was reserved, the staff found us another without any fuss. We stayed as the music started and the lights dimmed and disco lights came on. The atmosphere got lively, with lots of younger people arriving later. There wasn’t really room to dance, which was a shame, but we left at midnight a bit drunk and very happy with the night. We’re going on a second date, somewhere else, but that has nothing to do with this place. Would I come back with my date? Quite possibly ☺️ I highly recommend Lake Lounge, thank you 😊 The lake is right opposite, and inside there’s comfortable seating, booths, tables across a spacious floor, and a bar where you can sit if you just want a drink.

We had a quiet booth for our New Year’s Day meal, and it was well worth the wait. The paella and salt and pepper chicken were absolutely delicious. It’s dog friendly, the staff were very good, and it’s a great place to visit. I can thoroughly recommend it.

James deserves a special mention for being attentive and making sure everything was spot on. The service matched the food, which was amazing and impossible to fault. This was easily the best meal I’ve had in ages at The Lake Lounge. Highly recommend it, we’ll definitely be back.

After a walk by the lake, my dog, two friends and I stopped in for lunch today. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the service was great. Such a nice experience, I’ll definitely come back.

The staff at The Lake Lounge are always friendly and helpful, and the portions are generous. The food is ALWAYS delicious, whether it’s tapas, a meal or especially the Sunday roast. I love it here and would definitely recommend it.
