The decor, rooms, and staff were all fantastic. My only gripe is that I’m 6'4 and the shower head was fixed at about 5'4, so it really needs raising. Otherwise, perfect. I’d definitely return, even if it meant crouching to shower.

The room was spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable mattress, and the design throughout was both stylish and practical. The city centre location made it easy to walk everywhere. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and lovely design. A couple of things could be better. The fridge beside the bed made quite a bit of noise at times. There was also more outside noise than we’d have liked, which is understandable given the central location. Light sleepers, or anyone hoping for a proper rest after a late night out, might want earplugs. The website says bathrobes come with every room, but ours had none. When we asked at reception, the answer felt evasive, and we got the impression that because we’d booked at a lower rate, we shouldn’t expect them. That was disappointing and didn’t feel professional. Guests don’t set the prices, and the hotel says all rooms have the same amenities, with size as the only difference.

The location was excellent, but we were both extremely disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again. Outside noise was horrendous, and we barely slept all night. The room was dirty too, as the photos show. When I spoke to the receptionist in the morning, they didn’t seem to care about our experience. They appeared flustered when I said I’d taken pictures of the carpet, and did apologize that the stay hadn’t been great, but the customer service fell far short of what I’d expect from a respected business. Avoid this hotel and stay somewhere else.

Sam and Danny at the desk were genuinely lovely and really helpful. My Fiancée and I spent the weekend here in the King Suite, which had a lovely boutique feel. Great spot for shopping and going out at night. We’ll definitely be back.
