The apartment was a decent size and clean, though the fridge didn’t work properly and the couch was dented. The bigger problem was the noise: bars and karaoke places, including a drag queen bar, were directly across the very narrow street. Drunk people and loud music carried on all night, which was horrible on a business trip. The stairway also smelled like garbage the whole time. I wouldn’t stay here again.

A good choice if you're heading out for the night. The rooms are modern and in good condition. They advise against bringing families, and I agree, so please don't book it for one and then leave a bad review.

The flat is in a great spot, very close to The Cavern and Strand Street, with plenty of restaurants and traditional pubs nearby. Just be aware that collecting the key means a 20m walk to a different location.

The location is good, though the place could use a refresh. The bath looks tatty, the wardrobe door isn’t attached, and there are stains on the carpet.

The staff were so welcoming and always around if we needed anything. We had an amazing stay at the Cumberland apartments, everything was lovely. Highly recommend it.
