Best Western Premier Suites Hotel & Spa Liverpool-Knowsley

The staff were lovely, it was nice and clean, and the afternoon tea was lovely. The pool was nice but really crowded, and there are lots of stairs between the pool and spa. It’s not good if you have mobility issues. I struggled to get out of the jacuzzi, and the foot spa was broken. There was no toilet roll or soap in the changing room toilet, though thankfully there were tissues.

We really enjoyed our stay and are due back in a few weeks. My partner and I left this morning after two nights in room 314. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the swimming pool and facilities were great, and our room was spacious and clean. The food was lovely and came in big portions. Thank you!

The staff were very friendly and ready to help, and the service was worth five stars. We were offered a tour before using the spa, and the receptionists explained what we needed to know. The lockers worked, and robes, slippers and towels were inside. Spa access is limited to two hours, but the pool stays open until 9 pm, and there’s also a sauna and steam room. The spa includes a sauna, steam sauna, ice room rasul, a quiet room and a lounge room where you can have a brew. The jacuzzi's weren't working, though the pool water was warm and nice. We spent one night there just to try the spa. The hotel is near the motorway in an industrial area, somewhat isolated, so there isn't much to do. That suited us since we were there for the spa. The restaurant was okay, with reasonable prices considering the huge portions. The room was clean, but the hotel clearly needs a serious upgrade as everything looks old. Noise was the main problem. The windows are very old and let in the sound of cars. We struggled to close one, and were surprised to find a hallway window near the elevator left open because it had no handle. We didn't sleep well at all, though we do want to thank the staff for their service and effort.

We came with friends to celebrate a special birthday and had afternoon tea after enjoying the spa. Both were lovely. We didn't stay overnight, so I can't say anything about the rooms, but I'd recommend visiting for a spa day.
