Staycity Aparthotels, Liverpool, City Centre

We had a lovely stay, and the apartment was great value for money. It was clean, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, and the location was great. We didn’t seem to hear any noise, which was a bonus. The apartments felt secure, with the main building door locked at night so reception had to let you in. I did worry that the living room and kitchen door wouldn’t stay closed. I assume it’s a fire door, so it should stay shut because it leads to and from the kitchen. I mentioned it to the receptionist, who said he’d take a look. We were on the first floor. Even with a lift, getting there with a pram and young children was difficult because you first have to use the stairs to reach it. You can avoid those stairs by walking through the car park, but I didn’t feel safe doing that alone with two young children, as it’s open to the public from the street. I’d stay again on a different floor and would recommend the place.

We visited Liverpool as four friends for a football match, staying from 30.01. to 01.02.2026. Staycity Aparthotel Liverpool City Centre worked really well for a group. It was clean, modern and spacious, and Lime Street Station was just a short walk away. The hotel has its own restaurant with very good breakfast choices. Across the street, Duke Street Food Market has several food concepts, so there’s plenty of choice for meals. Soon after we arrived, staff messaged to say we could contact them if we needed anything. We didn’t need help, but appreciated the proactive offer. The city centre isn’t very big, which makes the location especially convenient, and you can also walk to the football stadium in about 45 minutes. I’d recommend Staycity Aparthotel to groups who want everything close by.

The location was fantastic, within a short walk of Liverpool One, Albert Docks, lots of good restaurants and pubs, and both Liverpool Centre train station for local trips and Liverpool Lime Rail Station for travel across the country. The hotel was super clean, with spacious rooms and really comfortable beds. There were a few tiny cosmetic issues, like chipped paint, but we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

My family was happy staying at Staycity Aparthotels, Liverpool. The apartment was comfortable and so clean and tidy, and it had the kitchen appliances I needed for making food at home. The receptionist was friendly and upgraded us to a bigger apartment. I was amazed by how well kept it was. Highly recommended.
