Trafalgar Warehouse Apartments

I booked this apartment seven months before my stay for $690. I completed a stringent ID check through PasstheKeys, and everything was confirmed. About a month and a half later, just two days ago, booking.comb notified me that the host had to cancel for unforeseen reasons. I had no choice but to accept, so I asked why, since the cancellation left me stuck after all the time I’d spent. They said the property was under maintenance and might not be ready when I arrived in mid Aug. I understand things can happen that are out of your control. But when I went back to Booking.com to look for somewhere else, I was shocked to see Trafalgar apartments re-listed right at the top as available for those exact dates, at double the price. I feel I was deceived and pressured into cancelling because the host realized they could get more money. Don’t trust this host. They put themselves first. I don’t recommend risking a booking with them. The place may look nice and have good reviews, but if something like this happens, it’s completely unacceptable and could put your plans in jeopardy. I’m sharing this awful experience so other travelers will be wary. I’ll find a better host, and I’m glad I’m no longer staying there because who knows what else could go wrong. Again, don’t risk booking this property.
