The beds were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the room was small, basic, and a bit grotty around the carpet. The ensuite door hit the toilet when you tried to close it. For what we paid, it should have been much better, and we won’t be back. The walls and floors are thin, so you’ll hear drunk guests stumbling in at 3am even if they’re not talking. Under £70 a night might be decent value, but above that, you’re being ripped off.

A quiet area with plenty of parking, and a great location for visiting Liverpool. The hotel was spotless, with a fresh smell as soon as I walked in. The rooms were well prepared, and the beds were comfortable. It’s very dog friendly, and the staff even had treats for the dogs. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Probably the best Travelodge we’ve stayed in for comfort, cleanliness, and friendliness.

It’s a great little Travelodge, with clean, nice rooms and great staff. There’s a cracking breakfast place opposite. We went at a peak time, when it was full, so it was also a very expensive Travelodge. We’d go back again. It’s about £5 for an Uber into town, or you can walk along the riverfront if you can find your way onto it.

The location was perfect for what I needed, and the room was roomy enough and well furnished. The service was exemplary. My soap dispensers weren’t working, but reception gave me some soap to use until they fixed them, which didn’t take long. When I was checking the vending machine for snacks, someone pointed me to a local corner shop two minutes away that hadn’t appeared on Google Maps. Alison was especially wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. She chatted when I wanted company and left me to it when I didn’t. I saw her handle an awkward guest with patience and kindness, and she really made my stay a good one. Thank you, Alison. We’ll stay here again.

The people here were so welcoming. Allison checked us in and was lovely and helpful, and the woman at checkout was just as friendly, though I didn’t catch her name. Maybe it’s a Liverpool thing, but everyone seems so nice. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
