Mark and Karen were excellent hosts, and the B&B made a great base for our long weekend exploring the Brecon Beacons. The room was really comfortable, with thoughtful personal touches, including homemade fudge. Breakfast was so good it kept us going until dinner. We’d highly recommend staying here when visiting the area.

Karen and Mark made us feel so welcome and comfortable, and were the kindest hosts. We spent six wonderful days at the New White Lion in Llandovery, a lovely home away from home with beautifully furnished, spotless rooms and a gorgeous choice at breakfast. The town is quaint, has plenty of pubs for eating out, and is surrounded by stunning Welsh scenery. I’d happily recommend this B&B and hope to return. Thanks for a few lovely days!

The little welcome gifts, plus the steady supply of milk, water and biscuits, were much appreciated. The bed linen was crisp and very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent, especially the best hash browns ever. Karen and Mark are genuine, lovely hosts who care about their guests and go above and beyond. We’ve just got home from a wonderful stay at The New White Lion, Llandovery, and can’t recommend them enough.

Our breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. The rooms were immaculate, with high quality furnishings, bedding and towels, and from the moment we arrived our hosts made us feel welcome. The owners clearly work hard. We’ll be back soon.

As a solo traveller, I really appreciated the small touches, fresh milk in the room, a welcome message before arrival, free coffee and cakes, and an honesty bar. Mark and Karen were lovely and did everything they could to make sure I felt comfortable and looked after during my long weekend at The New White Lion. The breakfasts were fabulous and cooked to order. Highly recommend!
