Tyddyn Llan Restaurant with Rooms

At Tyddyn Llan, Annette, Loki and I celebrated twenty-five years together with a wonderful weekend. We loved the room, which was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. That big shower was a delight, and we still remember it fondly. The staff were warm, attentive and gracious, always seeming to know what the moment called for. The food was a highlight throughout. The first night’s à la carte dinner was refined and delicious, followed the next evening by ten creative tasting courses. Every plate arrived with care, and each meal left us smiling.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, including with catering for an allergy. We had a beautiful meal for a special occasion, and everything was delicious. A brilliant evening at Tyddyn Llan.

We had a lovely stay, and will definitely return next year after our two nights here. The service was attentive, and everyone made us feel special without making the fine dining and drinking feel stuffy. We were grateful for the log fire when we arrived during the weekend storms. We had a ten-course tasting menu one night and a six-course one the next, both amazing and beautifully presented. Breakfast was an impressive five courses as well. The wine they recommended went really well with the food. Thank you for a lovely stay.

They made a special menu for me because I only eat fish, and even printed it out. We’d booked the six-course menu, which also came with an amuse-bouche and avocado dip with chicken skin. Everything was amazing, especially the bread with mushroom butter, tuna tartar, John Dory and the desserts. The wine flight matched the courses well and was good value. Breakfast was a tasting menu too, with top-quality items. Tyddyn Llan is a lovely modern restaurant with rooms. The rooms have been nicely redecorated, and come with lovely toiletries and homemade shortbread. The staff were all wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful about the food and wine. Maria and Gareth have made the place really special, and Osian, Angharad, Darcy and Emily gave us excellent service. Thanks, everyone 🥰
