The breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice, and the dining room was surprisingly full despite there having been no noise the evening before. My ground-floor room wasn't huge, but it had plenty of storage and a comfortable bed. The en suite shower room came with fluffy towels, and the cleaning was so thorough that, as a cleaner myself, I checked every nook and cranny. I also liked the warm, welcoming hallway and the artwork dotted around it. The lady who greeted us was lovely. I'd have given five stars, except the dining room was downstairs and my dodgy knees struggled on the way back up, especially after that breakfast. Don't let that put you off, though. We paid very little and I wasn't expecting much, but we'll definitely stay again next time I'm home in Llandudno.

I was travelling alone and found this gorgeous, well-run B&B in lively Llandudno to be great value. Janet, the owner, was really nice and happy to help with requests or tourist information. The breakfast and service were superb, and the rooms were tidy with beds made every day.

Breakfast was amazing, with cereals, fruit, yoghurt and juices, plus a delicious full Welsh breakfast and other choices. The room was clean and had its own en suite. A nice bed and breakfast, and they prefer direct bookings if you can. I'll definitely stay again if I get the chance.

Janet is so friendly and helpful, and her large Victorian house has ten rooms to let. We had a lovely two-night stay at this superb B&B. It was very clean, with a great breakfast selection including fruit and cereal. The price was extremely competitive, and the quiet location is close to all amenities. Warm and homely, highly recommended. We'll be back. X

Karden House feels like a jewel in Llandudno's crown, if the town is Wales's best-kept secret. Janet, the owner, gave us a warm, friendly welcome, and the cosy, well-furnished rooms felt like home. The bedding was good quality, with sumptuous pillows. The views are quite limited, and the bathrooms are compact, but they're spotlessly clean and functional. Janet's breakfasts are widely talked about and set you up for the day. It's a perfect place for a short break with someone you love. I've already booked our usual room for next year and look forward to coming back to Janet and beautiful Llandudno.
