Somerset Hotel

We went with daishs and had room 202. The view was a brick wall, and the floorboards squeaked whenever the people above walked around, so I didn't sleep. I couldn't leave the window open at night because of noise from the kitchen extractor fan. There was thick black dust on the skirting boards and plug socket, and there weren't enough plug sockets. The food was okay, but there weren't enough hot vegetarian options.

The location is brilliant, right on the sea front, with shops just around the corner. The rail station, tram, cable car, pier, and more are all within walking distance. There's nightly entertainment, and the staff throughout are what make this place. Rooms are nice and clean, but in need of updating. There's a variety of food on offer and a cafe on site.

The only letdown was the coach trip up to Llandudno, as the driver seemed to take the long way. We were also disappointed that the tram to the great Orme was closed, since we'd been looking forward to it and had been once before. Still, the fireworks were amazing, and we loved the hotel's decorations and festive spirit. We had a wonderful turkey and tinsel break with daish at the Somerset hotel,llandudno. The food was very good and so was the entertainment, especially on Christmas day, with amazing singers doing festive songs. The coffee shop had a good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices, and the assistant was very helpful and polite. Every member of staff, including the restaurant team and management, went out of their way to please us. Thank you to the hotel staff.

The Somerset Hotel is in a great spot, close to the shops and handy for sitting by the seafront. We stayed here in June and wanted to return, and we had a great time again. Our room was warm, clean, and very comfortable. There was a good choice on the menu each evening, and the food was lovely. We enjoyed the entertainment, including dancing, quizzes, and bingo. We'll be back, and I would 💯 percent recommend it.
