We had a brilliant two-night stay with our two elderly Chihuahuas, and Helen & Steve took even the dogs' three indoor accidents in their stride. The converted barn is beautiful, and the hosts are clearly dog and people lovers. They welcomed us with fresh coffee and home-baked cake, and made lovely home-cooked breakfasts. It suited us perfectly for visiting family nearby.

We only managed one night, though we wished we'd booked longer. The rooms were clean, roomy and really comfortable, and Helen and Steve made us feel at home in their lovely house. We were staying because we were collecting our new dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue, about ten minutes away. They welcomed us with tea and homemade cake, and breakfast was delicious scrambled eggs on toasted homemade bread.

The owners made a real effort to welcome me and accommodate my dogs. It's a lovely countryside spot, with clean rooms and a comfortable bed. I'd happily recommend it and come back.

A peaceful place for a comfortable overnight stay. Helen and Steve were lovely hosts and brought us a delicious piece of cake when we arrived. Very friendly, too.

We felt at home straight away thanks to Helen and Steve's warm welcome. The room was really comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities close to hand. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with their own free-range eggs and other locally sourced produce. My husband also loved Helen's homemade Lemon Drizzle cake. This dog-friendly little gem is tucked away from the main road in a lovely quiet spot. Honestly, it was the perfect stay and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to you both. Jackie and Dave
