Micheal was the real highlight. The proprietor was kind, attentive, and endlessly friendly and enthusiastic. We stayed three nights, and he made us feel like part of the family. We loved the Unicorn. The rooms were roomier than many we'd had while walking Glyndŵr’s Way, very comfortable, and had a terrific shower. HIGHLY recommended!

Mikey went above and beyond for us. We were staying for a friend's wedding and hadn't realised the place was so remote, which made finding taxis difficult. The new owner drove all six of us to the venue in two trips, at his own expense, and even offered to pick us up after midnight. The place is already coming along well under his care, and I'm sure it'll be even better in the next 12 months. I'd definitely recommend it for business or pleasure if you're up that way. Such a relaxing, welcoming bar and hotel. The host loves people and art, and makes everyone feel at ease. I'd really recommend stopping in for a drink when you're in Llani.

The Unicorn gave friends and family a wonderful place to gather and celebrate the life of someone very special, Graham. Mikey is a genuinely warm and friendly host, and you'll feel right at ease if you drop in to say hello. Huge thanks to Mikey, and lots of luck with the new venture.

I only came in for last Saturday's open mic, didn't stay overnight. Mike was really hospitable, and the atmosphere was lovely. Great to see another venue supporting Llani's rich musical talent. The chips and tequila are banging too!
