The Westbourne

We chose the small room, which was cosy and clean, just right as a base for our busy trip. The hotel is fantastic value, and the breakfast was tasty and set us up well for the day. Service was warm and friendly. I can't fault it, highly recommend!

The Westbourne was a great place for an overnight stay. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the host was great. We enjoyed the guest lounge with its games and comfy seats, plus an honesty bar. Breakfast came hot and fresh. We'd definitely stay again.

Room 9 in the annex felt almost like an apartment, with an entrance hall for coats and boot racks. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was nice, and the hosts were very welcoming. Parking and the location made it easy to reach the centre of Bowness. We will definitely come back. I stayed before and rated it four stars, but the change in ownership has made a positive difference, and this visit was five star. The new owners seem to be improving the beautiful building. The downstairs lounge could use a welcoming fire and a little updating to suit the property, but the changes so far have already helped.

The owners were so friendly, and our room was excellent. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. It's well placed for walking into Bowness. We'll definitely return.
