The host was friendly and helpful throughout, and the room got daily service. Breakfast was uncooked, but there was enough to fill up on. The bed felt a bit small for two. If staying longer, we should talk more about local charms.

We had a wonderful stay. The host was so friendly and let us leave our bags after check-out, so we could explore the town a bit more before leaving.

Everything went well from booking through to the stay. The room was a lovely size, and Graham was there at breakfast, where there was a good choice of continental options. Tea and coffee were available in the room too. It's a quiet spot, with on-street parking.

The owner was very friendly, and the rooms are clean. The beds are 3/4 size, which may be an issue if you're tall like me. There isn't a cooked breakfast, but there's plenty of bread, jam, cereal, coffee and fruit to fill anyone up. Windermere is a 5-minute walk away, with plenty of pubs and restaurants. I recommend hooks seafood.
