The place is in an excellent location, and Andy was welcoming and attentive to what we needed. The breakfast tray smelled lovely, though we didn't have one because we can't decide the night before. We'll definitely return.

The plant-based breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the place itself is lovely. Our hosts were kind and flexible, even staying up to welcome us after our trains were delayed late into the evening. They also knew the area well and gave us excellent hiking tips. I'd definitely recommend staying here when visiting Windermere.

The room was clean, had everything we needed, and was even tidied every day, which we hadn't expected and appreciated. We stayed for almost a week, and the hosts were incredibly nice and accommodating. We'd definitely come back!

We spent five lovely nights here for our anniversary. The spotless room was nicely decorated, and Andy & Tracy welcomed us warmly and suggested local places to visit. They also left a bottle of wine in our room for the occasion. Andy & Tracy made me gluten-free cookies, a thoughtful effort, although I don't like ginger. My husband enjoyed the freshly made cookies each day. We highly recommend staying here.

Tracy left me a lovely little birthday gift, such a kind gesture. She was also one of the warmest people I've met on vacation. The room was close to the railway station and within walking distance of lake Windermere. Everything was in its place, from the good-quality toiletries to the extra duvet, and Tracy kept the room spotless. Highly recommended.
