Bernie and John were so welcoming, and we’ll definitely come back. We had a lovely weekend with family in double bedroom no.3. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities, a handy fridge for milk and snacks, and a sofa to relax on. The bed was extremely comfy. Breakfast was delicious: cereals and yogurts, then a full cooked breakfast, toast, jam and marmalade. It set us up for the day. The garden was a lovely place to unwind, and it was nice to wake up to sheep in the field outside.

The garden was lovely when it was dry enough, and the views were amazing. John and Bernie were friendly and easy to talk to, and our clean, lovely room had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread. We made full use of their wide range of board games. It’s a short walk to the centre, where there are friendly bars serving amazing food. We’ll definitely return.

We’ll definitely be back. John and Bernie were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us at this lovely little bed and breakfast. It’s a short walk into the village, with a few places to eat, some shops, and a small train station, which was great.

With several good local pubs and restaurants just a walk away, this is an ideal base for a holiday, especially for the World Alternative Games. Berni and John are fantastic, welcoming hosts. The rooms are great and have an awesome view. Breakfast is hearty and cooked to order, using local ingredients, with homemade bread. Looking forward to coming back!

The host was friendly, and all the rooms were very clean. There was a huge, magical garden with different spots to sit, whether for morning coffee or an evening meal surrounded by nature.
