Britannia Inn Hotel

I slept really well here. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and having a fridge in the room was handy. I was in London for work meetings and found the place comfortable, reasonably priced, and well connected to the Metro. There were three Wi-Fi connections, which worked well for remote work. I'd happily come back. Congratulations!

Daily cleaning was the one good part, and the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the metro. The room itself was a shock: it was only about 2 metres wide and 3.5 metres long, despite being listed as 20 m². The bathroom door nearly touched the toilet, so moving around was difficult. I had booked and paid through Agoda.com for a room advertised with breakfast, but there was no breakfast included at all. It cost extra, and it wasn't good. I stayed six nights and travel to London often, but I won't choose this hotel again.

The room stayed spotless every day, thanks especially to housekeeping. They were attentive and polite, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. I had a wonderful stay, with comfortable accommodation, great service and a good location. I'd definitely stay here again! 😊

I had to leave early after waking up covered in bites and finding what looked like bed bugs in the room. I have clear photos of the bites and the bedding. My stay was from 5th-9th April, and it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I showed the pictures to reception in person, but nobody came to inspect the room or offered to move me. I asked for a manager and was refused. They said I wouldn't get a refund, gave me a business card, and told me to email. Leaving was my only option. Since then, the hotel has denied it all and referred to an “independent inspection,” but won't provide the report I requested. They've now stopped replying. The way this hygiene concern was handled, with so little accountability or care, is shocking. Avoid this place at all costs. 🤬
