The staff were friendly and the internet was fast and free. I’d recommend staying here to my friends. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and Liverpool Street Tube station is an easy walk away. Walking along the right side of the street on the way there in the morning let me avoid the sun while still enjoying warm, fresh air. I liked the walk back along that same side in the afternoon too. Spitalfields Market, Finsbury Circus and the Bank tube area are all within walking distance. You can reach different shopping and entertainment areas in about 10 minutes. In the morning I’d head up Commercial Street, pass Aldgate East, go farther south, then turn right along a small street connecting to Royal Mint Street, on the way to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The nearest supermarket is Sainsbury's, and there’s also a Tesco.
