Cuckooz Aldgate East

Cuckooz made our weekend memorable. My wife, our six-month-old baby and I were visiting friends in London and chose a serviced apartment to have enough space for everything we needed with a young child. It was practical, in a great spot, and the apartment and facilities felt five-star. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen and bathroom had high-end fittings, and the furniture was comfortable. Even the little touches stood out, from welcome beers in the fridge to a salon-quality hairdryer, which was a first for us. The Cuckooz team were friendly and attentive. When we had a question about the equipment at 10pm on a Friday, someone was immediately available and happy to help. I can't think of better accommodation I've had in London. The location is excellent, practically on the doorstep of aldgate east underground and a five-minute walk from Aldgate Underground. My one small gripe: the well equipped kitchen had no tea or coffee in the cupboards. That mattered less with great coffee shops all around, especially Exmouth Coffee Company, which had the best cake selection and cappuccino I've tasted in London. It's a great base for London's East end, shoreditch and Spittalfields, and the transport links nearby can get you pretty much anywhere in the city. I'd recommend it for value, luxury and a family-friendly stay. Make use of the handy brochure for local things to do. It points to some real food and drink highlights in the area.

My husband, our two boys and I had a great London stay. The apartment was roomy, clean and very comfortable. The cuckooz girls were a big help, especially Juliette.

I keep coming back whenever work brings me to the area. The apartments are lovely and have everything I need, plus a bit more. Aldgate East tube is just a minute away on foot, with plenty of restaurants and bars an easy walk from there. I love staying here and would happily recommend it.

Our flat was meant to be ready when we got back from holiday, but the building work had run over and the place was unlivable. Cuckooz came to the rescue. We had a really good stay and it felt like home, just with a lot less dust and rubble.
