The Elizabeth Line has made Bond Street Station feel like a completely different commuter hub. The new section is spacious, strikingly clean, and fast, with a cavernous layout that handles huge rush-hour crowds easily. Its underground walkways connect directly to the Central and Jubilee lines, and the engineering looks great. Step-free access throughout is flawless. Bond Street has long been a classic way to reach the heart of Oxford Street and Mayfair. These days, it’s one of Central London’s most efficient and visually impressive stations, a top-tier transit experience.

It’s clean inside and has good connections, and it’s perfect for Oxford Street. The station gets really overcrowded during peak times, though, and there aren’t enough staff around.

I went into James Bond Street station because I couldn’t pass up the chance to get the whole experience. It was really cool, and there was a train dedicated to Central C!! Apparently his favourite colour is red! I had no idea James Bond had his own street. You Londoners really are the cutest! There’s something to do with a lady called Elizabeth too, maybe his wife? I didn’t know he had a wife, so any help appreciated! Definitely come here.

You have to do quite a bit of walking between platforms, which is the one issue. But Bond Street is great for changing to other lines, including the really quick Elizabeth line. It’s right by Oxford Street, and one of the Elizabeth line exits is a very short walk from Oxford Circus, adding two more lines to the connections.

It never gets old around Bond Street. The place has great architecture, a lively atmosphere, and some of the best shopping in London, whether you’re after luxury labels or just want to take in the city’s energy.
