Novotel London ExCeL

Catherine and the entire team looked after us so well, and we loved every minute. We’ll definitely stay here more often. It was our first time at Novotel, and as frequent visitors to London, we thought it was one of our best hotel experiences. We arrived a few hours early just hoping to leave our luggage, but Catherine warmly welcomed us and arranged check-in three hours ahead of schedule. She also offered a complimentary drink and enrolled us in the ALL Accor points scheme. The room was spotless, the facilities were excellent, and we enjoyed a couple of drinks on the balcony with fantastic views. The location was really convenient, with the cable cars and Custom House station just a few minutes’ walk away, which suited our busy schedule.

Breakfast was excellent, and Carlos brought such a sunny, positive energy to it. We also really enjoyed dinner at the Upper Deck. The food was delicious, and Klea and Giovanni were attentive, professional waiters throughout our stay. Our room was lovely too, though we had a small TV problem. Maintenance responded quickly and sorted it out efficiently. Fouziha gave us a warm, helpful welcome from the moment we arrived. We had a great time at the Novotel London Excel and would come back.

I spent six days there, and my room stayed clean and comfortable throughout. Breakfast was delicious, and Auriez and Itore at the café made it especially pleasant. Their warm, attentive service each morning made me feel well looked after. They clearly care about helping guests feel comfortable and happy.

Marco took especially good care of us, and everyone on the staff was welcoming and helpful. I come to Novotel London each year for an event at the Excel Centre, and being an easy walk from the convention center makes a packed schedule much easier. The food is another plus when there's little time to find somewhere else to eat. I particularly like the fish and chips, and the breakfast bar is thoughtfully put together. This time, they even had honeycomb, which was a nice touch.
