Seraphine Hammersmith Hotel

The breakfast comes in a cardboard box, despite the somewhat grand name “butler style.” Still, it’s a satisfying mix: pastry, fruit, yoghurt, a tea bag, hot chocolate sachet, crackers with spreadable cheese, orange juice, and a Naked bar. This is a pleasant, basic little hotel, clean and comfortable, with a kettle, wardrobe, TV, and bathroom. The staff were lovely, polite, and helpful, and there are plenty of pubs and places to eat in the decent area. It was a little cold and the heating controls weren’t clear. The price is on the high side for a no-frills place. I’d recommend it if you’re in Hammersmith for a show, as long as you’re not expecting anything fancy.

Aranit gave us a really warm welcome at reception. The hotel is close to the train station, and our room was big and clean. A great place to stay in London.

The room was very small, but the design was pleasant. Aircon worked well and the temperature was adjustable, and the water pressure was really good. Staff were polite and breakfast arrived on time. It was basic but fresh, with bakery items, yoghurt, a cereal bar, apple, and juice drink. The hotel does need a massive deep clean, though it’s fine for one night when you need somewhere after a show. It’s in an excellent spot for Eventim Apollo and close to the National Express Coach bus stop. Shops and eateries are nearby, including M&S, Primark, and Ikea, plus there’s a lovely street food market.

We stayed for a week with five friends and found the rooms small, but comfortable and cosy, just right for sleeping. There’s plenty of food nearby, and the hotel is very well connected by the Circle, District, Piccadilly, and Hammermisth and City lines, which get you pretty much anywhere in central London. The staff were really kind and accommodating, helping us when needed and doing much more.
