The Bridge Hotel Greenford

The location worked really well for my work trip, and I was glad to have gated free parking. There’s a retail park and a Shell garage down the road. My room was great, breakfast was enjoyable, and it was nice to have a pint after work. I stayed the whole week and was happy with it.

Greenford station is right nearby, so getting into central London quickly was a real plus. The staff were very nice and gave genuinely useful tourist tips. Service met the level I expected, and so did the stay overall. I did notice a little wear and tear in the rooms, which is why I’ve taken off a star.

The cleaners were really lovely, but we had to wait an hour for them to change the sheets after I found blood spots on the bed when we arrived. The woman at the desk seemed dismissive when I raised it. It’s a good location for Wembley, though.

The pub dinner was poor, the food seemed reheated in a microwave, and a drunk man was sleeping on a nearby table. Breakfast wasn't any better, with what looked like powdered eggs. In the room, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, the carpet was stained, and the walls were marked up. The building is old and badly needs maintenance. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I can’t understand its 8.2 Booking rating or four Google stars. The bathroom can speak for itself in the attached photos. It was a very poor stay, and I wouldn’t recommend coming until the place has major renovations and service improvements.
