Thistle Trafalgar - Leicester Square

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the hotel was clean and relatively quiet despite being so close to the busy areas. It’s a hidden gem with a great location, close to everything. Getting there from the airport was easy, and I also found it very easy to get to King's Cross for my train to Edinburgh.

We rested well after long days out. Even though the hotel is in the middle of Soho, it was surprisingly quiet inside. The room was comfortable, and the shower was very good. The only minor thing was that the insulation against the cold isn’t great, so you might need to turn up the heating a little. The staff were friendly and supportive. The location is excellent, just behind the National Gallery, with Chinatown a short walk up the street. It’s a perfect base for seeing central London, and I’d happily stay here again.

We spent three nights here on a London holiday, and the stay was uncomfortable and not cheap. There was no heating in the room when we arrived, and although the on-duty manager came to inspect it, they gave us no explanation or solution until the second night. The room itself was in appalling condition. The bed and carpets were badly stained, the bathroom door was water damaged, and the bathroom was so worn that the chrome was coming off. At checkout we said we wanted to make a complaint and were told to email it. We’ve sent three emails and called the hotel, but management hasn’t responded. I wouldn’t come to London if this were where I was staying.

Really spacious room with a good range of supplies and tea. The bathroom was amazing, the bathrobes were comfy, and the shower was so good. The bed was huge and comfortable lol.
